Scotland’s non-surgical procedures Act is now law
The Non-surgical Procedures and Functions of Medical Reviewers (Scotland) Act 2026 is law - it received Royal Assent on 12 May 2026. Parts of it are already in force; the premises and practitioner duties cannot begin before 6 September 2027. The advertising rules apply today as well: if your website names Botox, calls a treatment “safe”, or leads on before/afters, the watchdog may take action. Send us the URL. We check it against the published rules and report directly to you. We do not change your site unless you ask us to.
